During the residency theatre director M\u0101ra Ga\u0146\u0123e, video and performance artist Kate Krolle, scenographer Kri\u0161j\u0101nis Elviks, UK-based sound artist Jonathan Law and Italian site-specific installation artist and scenographer Gian Maria Tosatti are reserching and working in Riga\u2019s public space.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday 27 June at 14.00 we invite to a public presentation of the residency. The artists will take audience on tour\u00a0 in the city to share their research results. Meeting point: Balasta dambis 2, next to the former Publishing house (Preses nams). Duration of the tour is ca 3 h and we kindly ask to come with a bicycle. The presentations will be in English.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday 29 June 20.00 at the Brick Bar in the territory of the former factory &#8220;Bo\u013c\u0161evi\u010dka&#8221;, Jonathan Law will present his new composition based on the soundscape of the city and its building.<\/p>\n<p>The residency is a project of the New Theatre Institute of Latvia and part of \u201cMagic Carpets\u201d platform activities.
