This material will become part of an audio-visual walk in the nature that will lead audiences through the surroundings of C\u012brava and end at the dinner table in the local culture house. Taking place on Holy Thursday, the \u00a0day of Last Supper, the performance focuses on the questions we might ask ourselves at the last supper, things we would like to remember, things to celebrate from our lives,\u00a0any regrets we would have and whom we would like to be there with us.<\/p>\n<p>Last Supper has been created during the residency of Icelandic artists in C\u012brava together with locally based Latvian choreographer Krist\u012bne Br\u012bni\u0146a.<\/p>\n<p>Steinunn Knutsdottir has worked as a director and performer with various theatre groups in Denmark, England and Iceland. In her work she focuses on progressive theatre, crossing the borders between disciplines and participating in many research projects. Steinunn&#8217;s work has been presented in Reykjavik, Copenhagen, New York and Vienna, on the world wide web, on television and radio. Her webtheater piece Room 408\/Herbergi408 was nominated for Prix Europa award. Steinunn is the artistic director of The Professional Amateurs, a company which she founded together with several established Icelandic theatre artists. In 2015 Reykjavik&#8217;s international theatre festival Lokal presented a retrospective of the works by The Professional Amateurs, which as all their performances was free of charge.<br \/>\nRebekka Ingimundardottir studied set design, mime and object theatre in Prague and Amsterdam. She is part of the creative team of Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space and was the curator of the section Makers at PQ 2015. Rebekka has her own theatre company in Iceland and works regularly as set and costume designer for theatre and film.<br \/>\nKrist\u012bne Br\u012bni\u0146a has studied dance in the Latvian Academy of Culture in Riga. Since the graduation in 2011 she has created several solo pieces and also works collectively. Krist\u012bne has presented her work in Latvia, USA, Cyprus and South Korea. Since last year she lives and works in the village of C\u012brava.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by the New Theatre Institute of Latvia in collaboration with the artist residency initiative &#8220;Cita Abra&#8221; and C\u012brava culture house. It is the second residency conceived by NTIL in the project &#8220;Regions.Art.Nature&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Supported by EEA grants, Latvian Ministry of Culture, State Culture Capital Foundation<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>The project \u201cRegions.Art.Nature\u201d (EEZLV04\/GSKA\/2013\/04) is financed by a grant of 54028 EUR from Island, Lichtenstein and Norway via the EEA Financial Mechanism.
